La rentrée!

Et c'est parti! Dominic en 3e et Alex en 1ere....finalement!
Je suis allée à l'école rencontrer leurs professeurs avec eux et tout c'est bien déroulé.

C'est évident que Alex a plus hâte que Dominic :-)

Home Sweet Home

We finally made it!  What a looooonnnnngggg ride this time!  But kids were still good.

11 hours...

And still going... We still have almost 2 hours to go to get to my cousin Dan's house. Going nuts!!! But the kids are great, couldn't ask for more.

Last day

I think we finally have had enough of Disney...we are hot, exhausted and broke! We are also running out of patience for the crowds

We went to Animal Kingdom this morning to do the river rapids and Alex wanted to re-do Everest. Dominic didn't want to do it so Gilles went with Alex and then she wanted to go again with me...except she decided she didn't want to after we started. Not sure why she changed her mind but she wasn't happy. She did it 3 times! She's still the Queen!

Hollywood Studios

Today was our last time at Hollywood Studios. While we were getting ready, we saw an armadillo. Animals here at the camping are not afraid of us, I guess they are used to having people around.





I had a hard time getting a good picture of it because Alex kept running after it.
We did Star Tours, that was very impressive! It was just like being in a Star Wars spaceship! We also saw the stunt car show again. It was much better without the rain, all the stunts worked this time.
After HS, we went to downtown Disney and had dinner at T-Rex. Awsome restaurant, all the dinos move. We took a bunch of pictures.

Our last day tomorrow, going to Animal Kingdom to do a few rides we haven't done yet. Then we will probably go to Typhoon Lagoon, the other water park

I think we are all ready to go home, the kids are actually asking to go to bed! We're all tired and have enough of the heat, it's been at least 44 every day we've been here, and the rain showers don't help either.

Les enfants se sont réveillés à 10h ce matin! Du jamais vu! On est tous brulés!
On est allés faire ce qu'on a pas eu le temps avant. On a réussi à tout faire et voir ce qu'on voulait. Alex voulais retourner à Space Mountain mais l'attente était trop longue...même avec la Fastpass.
Dominic avait besoin d'une coupe de cheveux donc on est allés chez le Main Street Barber.


En attendant Alex a eu des pixie dust.











Dominic aussi mais un peu moins.
En revenant, on a rencontrés Thumper.





Mais il ne signait pas d'autographes aujourd'hui.
Demain on retourne à Hollywood Studios... Alex a bien hâte de faire la Tower of Terror pendant que Dominic pleure parce qu'il a peur de faire Little Mermaid..

BTW, j'ai tout fait les manèges jusqu'à présent sans problèmes d'étourdissment!! Woohoo!

Blizzard Beach

How much fun do you think you could have here??


Love the theme, brilliant! A ski hill as a waterpark. The details are incredible.
We had lots of fun
For once we are back early, will make dinner and relax, unless we decide to go somewhere, but at the moment, I'm exhausted
The heat and the walking all day and night
are getting to me, I ache everywhere and my feet are twice their usual size. The kids are doing great, they walk as much as we do, don't complain much and carry their backpacks everywhere.




Alex wouldn't cooperate and show her HSM towel.

I wanted to walk around and take more photos but I didn't have the energy. But a day in the water really felt good!

Epcot

Too exhausted for words. What a spectacular day at Epcot...and I thought I wouldn't like it much. Soarin' is unbelievable!! It really is like flying! Alex and I went twice.
Gotta go to bed, here are a few photos I took today. No worries if you don't see many photos here...we have taken over 800 so far...

Shopping day

Last night we went back to Majic Kingdom to see
The parade and fireworks. Dominic lost his backpack with all his trading pins and autograph book in it...he had over 25 autographs. He was quite upset but I'm sure someone took it to the lost & found, I just haven't been able to reach them yet. If it's not found we'll replace his pins and I said I'd make him a book with copies of Alex's signatures.
The fireworks were amazing, the kids watched wide-eyed and Alex said: Wow! Disney really IS magic! Too cute.

Today we took it easy, I had to do laundry and clean a bit. We then decided to go to the outlets since it was so hot. We shopped till we dropped... a bit of everything. Strangest thing happened...as I walked into a sunglass store, I started lookong around to see if I liked anything. I was standing there with MY sunglasses in my hand and one of the lenses just popped out and shattered on the floor! The clerks and I were just looking at each other wondering what the hell happened..I've had those glasses for a few years and all of a sudden...we were pretty freaked out, and I had to buy new glasses. After outlet shopping we went to Downtown Disney. The Lego store is amazing!! Check out all they built in Lego!!

When I asked them what they liked best about their day, Dominic said the Lego store (of course), and Alex said it was digging in piles of "bobettes" with me at the Victoria's Secret outlet...yes, the girl is strang. But they are both very happy!
Tomorrow we are going to Epcot, the only park we haven't seen yet.
