Viva Vacation!

How's that for being delinquant!! Awful! But I'm determined not to give up.
I have been on vacation for almost a week now and have over 2 more weeks to go. Woohoo!!

Last Friday I took the kids to Edmundston to spend the week with the family. I decided to go and stay for the weekend. Relaxed, scrapped, was pretty nice... Now I'm back home, slowly getting ready for camping, cleaning up, etc...and still relaxing...
The kids are having the time of their lives in NB, of course. Here's a quick look...

Saturday we are going camping in Stoneham near Québec. My parents will bring the kids and we will spend the week there, hoping the weather will be nice enough to go to Val Cartier. Then we will move on up the North Shore past Tadoussac to this little campground where you can see whales from your site! Should be exciting.
On Sunday we will cross over to Rivière-du-Loup and finish off our vacation in Edmundston at les Jardins de la République. I haven't been there in over 20 years!

Guess What!!

Alex is on her way!! On Monday, she would just put the tip of her nose under water!!
This was her at the end of the afternoon...

We had a great day. It was beautiful, and hot. We swam all afternoon with a few neighbors; Caroline and Caroline and the kids. The kids never left the pool for about 5 hours! Moms had a couple of cocktails for la St-Jean Baptiste!

Summer has arrived!

No, I haven't given up blogging yet. Life just seems to pass me by. I keep complaining but I am trying to figure out how to slow it down. One way I found is to be sick...it just c r a w l s by when you'r sick. So this is why I have time to write today, I'm sick. I got this stomack flu yesterday morning and have been in bed since. Much better now but I'm still really weak and didn't go to work today.

It's been so long since I wrote I don't even know what's the last thing I wrote...so I'll start with soccer. The kids are both playing soccer and I'm coaching them. They are having lots of fun and are really good...and I'm not just saying that because they're my kids...they are the kind of people who are good at everything they try.

Dominic only has 2 days of school left, then...GRADE 1!! Wow! He had the best teacher on earth in kindergarten, we sure are going to miss her. She pretty much confirmed Alex would also be with her. He had his year-end class trip on Friday at Tubes et Jujubes. It's an indoor park with slides really big gym sets. They love it there. I went with his class and took Alex. They had a Blast!

On Saturday we went to Gilles' friend's street party. It was in Ottawa so we took the trailer, parked it in a driveway and had a great time. They had games, entertainment, a band, food, loads of fun. The kids had a really good time playing with the kids, riding their bikes, etc.

You can see all the photos here http://picasaweb.google.ca/lh/sredir?uname=jouellette69&target=ALBUM&id=5350166846022971153&authkey=Gv1sRgCJTh892Go4O_bA&feat=email

Unfortunatly, I woke up the next morning with the flu and have been in bed since...

So we are gearing up for camping season. This Thursday we are going to St-André Avellin, about 1.5 hours from here and a very nice campground. Our neighbors and Alex's babysitter will also be there. Should be fun. Next Wednesday on July 1st we are going to Bromont, a really fun campground with Bromont water park close by. Will keep you posted!

Still here!!

Wow! It' s been exactly 1 month! We've been crazy busy... Let's see...can't even remember what's happened in the last month.

Well I worked like crazy, I was on a project installing a new phone system in the Laval office. That was quite fun, except for the day we worked 21 hours straight...still recovering from that one.... But, it was very interesting work, I loved it and hopefully will be doing much more of those.

My parents were here last week, that was a nice visit...nice break from the kids. Kids are still here...they just say "Memere!!!! all day long!!

Believe it or not...I've just signed up BOTH kids for soccer this summer AND myself as a coach!! Now the hardest thing for me was to realize that I got my Level 1 soccer coach certification 20 YEARS AGO!!!! OUCH!! I've never coached soccer but we'll see how I do now.

Camping season is finally here!! We are going camping in Tremblant this weekend; we all can't wait! Friends who just got a new camper are coming with us. Should be lots of fun. Kids have been waiting for so long.

So this is about all I can manage tonight...can't think anymore. I will try to be better about writing...just had this idea about stealing Gilles' laptop to sit in front of the TV and write. I'll just have to do that more often.

Life goes on...

It speeds past us quick as lighting...That's as poetic as I get.

We are so busy...running all the time. I consciously try to slow down and take it easy but it's almost impossible! It doesn't help when you don't feel good either. Last week, I was soooooo dizzy all the time. I have never been that dizzy in my life!! It was horrible. I figured it had something to do with my new diet. (For those who don't follow my blog...it's not a fad weight loss diet, it's to get my pancreas and adrenal glands working again so I can go back to living!)
I called my naturopath and she said make sure you eat enough... eat protein every 2 hours. Well I've been much better since Saturday. Today I actually had enough energy to play with the kids!!! Yesterday we few kites!! I hope I keep climbing that slope!
Easter bunny was here yesterday..didn't leave anything for me but I stole a few from the kids ;-)
Rebecca was here to play with the kids today...they had loads of fun. Alex got a new bigger bike from Noémie, the neighbor who got a bigger bike. She got last year's purple Brats bike, it's like new!! She loves it...she didn't even want to bring her small one home! I'll take photos when I get a chance. Speaking of which, I'm downloading photos from my camera and the kids were at the Museum of Science and Technology with their Dad last week and I hadn't even seen the photos!! I'm shocked...Dad too really good photos!! Scrapbooking photos!! And Alex looks so old!!!

Had enough kite flying...

Mellow day today

So folks...It's 10:10PM and I still have 5 loads of laundry to fold (did I mention Alex changes her clothes 5 times a day??), lunches, snacks and my special breakfast before I go to bed...I guess we're eating out for lunch tomorrow :-)

Scrap (ed) Weekend!

We have been planning this weekend for months, been counting sleeps; finally away in a cottage, without kids, scrapping, 1 whole weekend...too good to be true...well it was.
Started out great. The rented house was great; huge! Deer all over the place, by a lake, etc.
So we got settled Friday afternoon, scrapped Friday night...slept really well. Saturday morning, up and raring to scrap all day. We sit down to start, an old man comes to the door, say she 's a neighbor and lets us know the road is washed out on one side of us an flooded on the other!!
If we want to go, we need to go soon. So some girls start to panick...some go out to see, come back and say we have 1 hour to pack and get out of here. Well it had taken us 2 HOURS to unpack!! 10 minutes later we're all packed, but some girls who had left come back and say we can't go, it's blocked. Anyways, some of us decide to go out and see. Turns out a local is driving through it no problem, but he says it's only getting worse and you may not be able to get out tomorrow. So since we were already all packed we decide to make a run for it. The guy leads us out (btw, there are still really nice, helpful people out there...Merci Denis!) and we make it.
Half of the girls stayed and waited for the police to escort them out. I think they're still there...
needless to say, we're kind of pissed. So we decide to go to my house and scrap. Everyone stayed till late last night and a few came back today. If you're a mother, you will know that once you are in town...it's really hard to get away from the husband and kids...that's why we had to go in the middle of nowhere to start with!!
We ended up having a nice weekend anyways but not nearly as relaxing as we had hoped...we will surely be planning another one for the fall...there is no thaw in the fall...
You can see my new pages on the left.

Spring has Sprung!

Yes, this was at 7:30 AM this morning! It's cold but they got dressed and out they went. We took out the bikes last night and they've only ridden on the patio so far but I'm sure that won't last too long...especially for Dominic. I think we'll take out the patio swings today. It's so warm during the day on the back patio, no wind at all.
Dominc has his first "school friend" birthday party today. The little boy lives in our neighborhood so that's nice. I'm hoping we can just kind of relax today...you know, along with doing the laundry, answering Alex's 20 000 questions, etc. If I can spend 30 minutes out back in the sun today my mission will be accomplished.

DS fever...

It's been a while, we are busy busy busy...running all the time. I saw a Naturopath last week for my chronic lack of energy; and she determined that my pancreas is working overtime and producing too much insulin and litteraly sucks the energy right out of me (kind of like Alex...)
So I'm on a very high protein diet, almost no carbs in order to regulate my blood sugar and pancreas. Lots of fruits and veggies, meat. Not bad, I get to eat meat, cheese, make really good shakes. Kind of the kick in the but I needed to eat better and lose weight. I lost 5 lbs in the first week!
Anyways, when I first started this diet, I was so weak and exhausted! I could barely stay awake last weekend; but I've gradually been getting better. Going to bed early last week. That's why I haven't been writing, or doing anyhing else for that matter. Planning and preparing what I'm going to eat takes time...which is why I haven't been doing it before.
Dominic's been loving his DS, he's not playing too much, not exagerating. But Alex has been unbearable! She wants one and will not let up. They fight constantly, Alex steals it, Dominic wants it back. So I got fed up that I told her if she wanted one, she would have to buy it with her own money. So she came down with her coin bucket. Turns out she had half the money! So I paid the rest and got her one! Everyone's happy.

Well, this morning, we were supposed to go to the store to get some birthday presents. So I was still on the phone, hadn't showered yet, and I told the kids to go get dressed since they were still in pyjamas. 5 minutes, later, still on the phone, I come up and this is what I find...

You realize my parents wished this on me....I know! They've been telling me all my life I would get what's coming to me!
Anyways...I'm so looking forward to my scrapbooking weekend...in 2 weeks!!! About 16 of us rented a big cottage and we are packing up and leaving town!!! Woohoo!!

So proud!!

I am so proud of my Dominic! He came back from NB wanting a Nintendo DS since he played with Félix-Adam and loved it. Well, I said I would NOT buy him a $150 video game! No way! (The WII was MY birthday present...who could tell...) So then I told him that if he really wanted one, he could use his money in his piggy bank which he's been filling up since...he was born. I explained the rules: He would have to save until he had enough, he would have to buy his own games, he would have to save up his money again since he would have none left, and of course, no more than 1 hour a day of playing, etc, etc, etc.
Last night, we counted and rolled change...he had $160!!!! So tonight, we went shopping...he chose a nice candy apple red new DS Lite, a Mario Brothers case and I bought him (I know, I cheated) a Mario game. I still can't get over the fact that my 6 year old saved up $160 and bought himself a video game! He works so hard! He is so good! We sometimes give him money for work he does or if we ask him to do something harder or special, we tell him we will pay him. He puts everything in his bank. So the lesson starts....save up, pay cash, be patient. Now if only his parents could get that....

Busy busy busy

Wow! It's really been a while! I have been crazy busy! Starting last week, my parents came over to spend some time and pick up the kids to bring them to NB for March break. Kids were so excited!! We had planned to stay home but treat ourselves a bit to outings and fun since we were going to be kidless for a week. So Saturday morning, the day before they were to leave....Alex starts running a fever. Pretty high fever and complains of a sore throat. Come Sunday morning...no better, my parents have to leave with Dominic and leave her behind. Poor Alex. She was so sick she didn't mind that much but I promised her we'd go to Québec to pick up Dominic and we'd do something fun.
Alex was better by Tuesday, so back to work. Work is crazy busy; first I work only 4 days a week (30 hours), but my job is still the same 40h/week job. Plus, now I have to do 2 jobs as I'm working on the Laval office new phone system implementation. Needless to say...we didn't go out and didn't have fun. On Wednesday night, we were ALL asleep by 9!

So tomorrow morning (Saturday), we are going to Québec, going to Galleries de la Capitale where they have an amusement park to spend a few hours. Then we are meeting "The Cousins" for dinner and swimming at the hotel. Should be so much fun!! Can't wait to see them!
My parents will come in on Sunday morning and we'll have a quick family reunion with Pizza, then come back home with Dominic.
He's been having such a good time in Edmundston! He LOVES Félix-Adam (my parents' neighbors' son) They get along so well and miss each other terribly when they are separated. They've been building forts outside and skiing all week.

So now, off I go to fold laundry and get ready for our fun weekend. Life will get back to normal on Monday and hopefull slow down soon...Don't think I can take this much longer...neither can this blog!

Sleepless in Perkins

Well, it's 3:15AM and I just can't sleep; that 2nd coffee yesterday morning really did me in. So I figured it was a good time to catch up.
So, last week, I was in the middle of the Obama action...well, not up close but I work across the street from the Parliament so our streets were closed, cops were going through the garbage cans outside our building when I came in to work, we were picking snipers off the rooftops, helicopters with snipers hanging out were flying by our windows, and I was stranded downtown trying to get home since all the streets were closed and no buses went through. You know, all of the glamorous stuff which comes with such a distinguished visitor. I didn't go up to try to see him when he arrived...saw him waving up close on TV though.

Today, I found out I'm finally moving up in the world. I will now be spending 1 day a week working for Paul, my former boss (who has himself moved up), helping him with National Telecom. He's in charge of all Telecommunications for Deloitte Canada, all by his lonesome, and now I get to help with phone system implementations!! Woohoo!! This is the stuff I like, the planning, organizing, learning....After 10 years, updating distribution lists and paying bills is getting old. Of course I still have to do that but I now also have exciting things to do. Hopefully, this will lead to more interesting stuff.

And more exciting news...my cousin Renée is going to be published!!! She will have a layout (or maybe 2) in Canadian Scrapbooker! I'm so excited and proud of her! Way to go girl!! Just remember who taught you everything you know ;-) Just kidding, you're teaching me stuff! Which made me realise, that aside from riding on my mother's coattails, and having my layouts stolen, I've never been published in my own rights. Of course I haven't submitted anything so it's not surprising...but maybe I should start thinking about it.

Kids are good. Alex is now writing her name, and writes it everywhere. She now wants to let her hair grow, but we had to have her bangs trimmed and her hair styled so it would grow properly. She's pretty cute, but she sometimes reminds me of that character, don't remember the name, it think it was Lilly Tomlin playing it. She was a kid sitting in a big rocking chair, square haircut... She looks so "déplaisante"!
Dominic has a couple of molars coming out so is in a bit of pain. Funny story, he's been asking to put ice on his cheek because it hurts, so I put ice in a Ziplock, in a towel and he rests it on his cheek. Well the night before he fell asleep holding it to his cheek. At around 11 when I went to bed I checked up on him and all the ice was melted, so I took it away. He turned around in his sleep, said "It still hurts", grabbed a small stuffed dog in his bed and held it too his cheek like he did the ice. It was so cute and funny! He slept like that for a while. Pauvre Pitou!
We will be having guests in the next few days...my parents will be here Wednesday for the weekend, and on Sunday will be taking the kids back to NB with them for March break. That makes everyone so happy :-) It will be fun for them to ski with Pépére, Félix-Adam and Marie-Kristine.
So, I wish I could say I'm getting really sleepy but I'm not really; I'll just be paying for it royally later today!

Well, I wanted to leave you with a few pictures, but unfortunatly, I haven't been taking any! Really gotta get to it. So here is Alex, a little while back in her little bed she had for a few days to watch TV.

And here is Dominic on his 6th Birthday...yup, really have to get on this photo thing...

A dream come true!

Today, a long time dream came true...I skied with my family! It was so much fun! Everyone is independant and everyone can go fast enough. And here are photos to prove it.

That's Anne Corno, a friend who gave Gilles his lessons.

Sick weekend

Well, just as expected, Dominic and I were sick all weekend. Dominic more than I, he had a fever and really didn't feel well. I had a migraine at one point but it was mostly uncomfortable. Dominic and I didn't go skiing on Saturday, Gilles took Alex to her lesson. Apparently she can now do her turns and stop. Can't wait to ski with my 2 kiddies again! I'm so excited!
Valentine's day wasn't too exciting. We gave the kids their gifts in the morning; teddy bears and 1 treat. They were quite happy. We were supposed to do fondue but I was too weak to get it ready so we had lasagna (yes, frozen), and I told Gilles he would probably have to spend Valentines night alone since I had a migraine, but I got up around 8 and was able to watch a movie with him and give him his little present. Turned out not too bad.

On Sunday I took Alex to Juliette's birthday party. McDonald's then her home for cake and gifts. They had lots of fun. Dominic had to stay home because he was too sick, but I brought him some McD's when we got back. We had our fondue for dinner then I went to bed at 8:30!!

Today, I went shopping!! Wasn't in the plan but I had to go to work to fix a booboo I did so I stopped in for a few sales. I had forgotten to get snowsuits for the kids at the Clement sale where I usually go in January, so I stopped in. There was nothing left for Alex but got a really cool ski jacket for Dominic and 2 for 1 t-shirts and pants for Alex. Stopped in at Sports Experts and got the COOLEST 1-piece ski suit for Alex! Everything at 50%!! They will fit perfectly next year and the kids love them! Woohoo! On big thing done!!
So, I'm now going to fold a big pile of laundry and then go to bed...gotta work tomorrow...already??!!

Thursday, February 12, 2009

4-day weekend!!

Woohoo!!! 4 days off!! But since yesterday, I'm all stuffed up and my sinuses hurt...yuck! But, Trish is coming to scrap all day tomorrow...now THAT's a treat!! I never see her!
So tonight I did the valentines thing with the kids. For Alex's daycare and Dominic's class...just a couple of chocolate hearts each and a valentine. But 1 hour later, it was time to put them to bed. Evenings fly by so fast!
I've been wanting to take more photos to put up here...I guess I just have to be more organized. At least I take a minute to write something most days; even if I can't find much to say past 8 at night...my mind is already numb. So I think I'll go up, watch TV with Gilles and have a drink. I'll try and do better on the weekend....the lllooooonnnnnnggggg weekend that is :-)

Busy Busy

Well, it's the fast life again! Last night I had a Stampin Up club, we had a good time. Can't wait for our scrap weekend in April!!
Now, I'm finishing up a few things on the computer and Alex is beside me stamping gifts for people. She's really good at cleaning and putting my stamps away. She knows the rules... Dominic is playing on Gilles' computer and complaining that it's too slow...imagine! He's 6!
So my parents want to have the kids during March break...works for me. We started talking about a vacation while they were gone, we went through a bunch of options, then we ended up deciding to stay home, give ourselves a budget, and do all kinds of activities here. That way, we'll be more rested and will probably spend less money. I really want to go to Disney World with the kids as soon as Gilles gets a job!
I took tomorrow afternoon off work. I have to take Eddie shaved at 1 so It's not worth driving all that way back and forth, so I'm not going back to work. Woohoo! I have a bunch of overtime I'm keeping to take time off so I'll be using that. Turns out, I still have 4.5 weeks off till the end of August.
Ok, it's bath time for the babies!!

Sunday, February 8, 2009

Sweet Sunday

My baby is skiing!! She went down the big hill by herself yesterday. She is so cute!! I actually went down the hill with my 2 kids. Alex wouldn't let me go ski in front of her, she kept saying she wanted to do it on her own. And she did! Gilles also took a lesson and he went down. He liked it but he was sore after. Of course, skiing at our age is not easy ;-)
Today Alex went to play with Juliette, Dominic and Katianna went to play with Antoine and Jasmine; which left me...Home Alone!! I finished 2 sb pages. I did most of what I had planned but not all. But I'm ok with that, I got those pages out of my system. Tonight I will fold all the laudry I did and take it easy I think.

Saturday, February 7, 2009

Nothing much

A quiet Friday really; nap in the morning, puttering around in the afternoon, added my sb pages to my blog, finished up a page... Turns out no one came to scrap Friday last night. That's ok, I finished a few things downstairs, sorted my chipboard letters to put them in little drawers, etc. I guess this is how I like my Fridays...really quiet. I get to do what I want, when I want. No one to tell me what to do, what they need, when to do it, etc. Doing what I want, when I want is my greatest luxury as a mom. I mostly did that yesterday.

Today we are going skiing. Alex has her course this morning, Dominic and I will ski and I think Gilles will finally take a lesson and try it out. I can't wait till we can all ski together. It's supposed to rain today but I don't think it will before noon so we'll be done by then.
Chantal and her kids are supposed to come over this afternoon. Moms will scrap and kids will play. Should be fun.
Maybe I'll have more to say later but this is all I can come up with this morning.

Thursday, February 5, 2009

Finally! A day at work.

So I finally got a full day's work in today. Alex is still stuffed up a bit and complains of an ear ache once in a while but she is much better.
The weekend is here!! Even though I only worked 1 full day this week, I'm exhausted. I can't wait to take it easy tomorrow. I don't want to go out, just stay in and scrap.
Dominic is going tubing with his daycare tomorrow since school is closed tomorrow and Monday. He should have lots of fun. Hopefully it won't be as cold as today...it's not supposed to be.
Well, I really don't have much to say...I just want to go to bed and finish my book. I'm reading Full Moon, or is it Eclips...from the Twilight series. Anyways, it's the 3rd and I'm almost done! I would never have believed I would go nuts over a vampire story! Even worse, a teenage vampire story. You get so sucked in you really believe they exist and it's real! So off I go....

Quickie

Well, it's really late and I'm really tired but I really don't want to start making excuses and give up on this...So here's a quickie for you.
Lise (Alex's babysitter) called last and and said she was closing today (personal reasons). Gilles had to be at a client's all day so, AGAIN I had to stay home with Alex. So I decided to take her to work with me and do at least a few things that needed to get done. Turns out we stayed all morning. She loved it. She colored; I set up a little desk for her in my office. She watched Mamma Mia on a computer (I had brought the movie and her earphones). After that she listened to her MP3 player and danced and sang around my office. She didn't want to leave!
Then we had lunch with Gilles and went to a few stores to run errands. We pick up Dominic and went home, it was almost 5!
We're all kind of getting sick of Mamma Mia (house, car, work...) so I decided to make a switcheroo on them...I introduced the to GREASE!!! They LOVED it! Alex got mad that I sang every song though...I just couldn't stop myself. So maybe we'll get a bit of a break for now...I guess I'll have to go get High School Musical when we get sick of Grease :-)
Off to bed and my vampire stories now...good night.

Another day...another fever

Alex is still home. She's a bit better this morning but it may be the Motrin I gave her a few hours ago. We'll see. I'm staying with her this morning and Gilles will be with her after lunch.
I'm going out to dinner with Margie and Marie-Andrée tonight since Margie's in town. I see them so rarely it will be an event!
Not much more to tell today, day hasn't even started yet! It's a bright and sunny day and not very cold; it's supposed to be like that all week. What a nice change! Hopefully it will improve my mood. I've been down lately and I'm not sure why; maybe overwhelmed by all I have to do, sick and tired of the same old dishes, laundry, pick up after the kids (imagine if I didn't have a cleaning lady!!). I know, it's everyone's life, but it's getting to me lately. Could be weather, everyone's sick, Gilles not finding a job yet, etc etc etc. Maybe I'll have 2 drinks with the girls tonight!! ;-)

Monday, February 2, 2009

Monday...

Well, Alex is pretty sick. High fever, ear ache. She's had a cold for over a week but it hadn't bothered her until last night. I laid on the couch with her for a couple of hours tonight and watched Mama Mia....again. Motrin helps her but you can tell when the effect disapears. She stayed home today, and may have to tomorrow again. Poor her, she just wants to play with her friends.

Sunday, February 1, 2009

Warning, Sunglasses required

OK, I know this is really bright, but it's Alex's favorite background so I'll give it a week...Promise!!

Snow much fun!

So we went out sledding today. We built a really cool slide by the house and the kids had a blast as you can see.

Sesame Street

Busy day today...started with Alex's ski course. She's pretty good, but she still can't stop. Important thing is that she loves it. She goes down the big hills between the instructor's legs. At least she's not afraid. Now the only one left is Gilles...He should start next week...I hope.
After the course, we rushed home, ate, changed and went to Sesame Street Live. I wasn't too impressed. Kids kind of liked it but I think we all found it kind of long.

I didn't end up scrapping a lot yesterday...I spent half the day on Facebook!!! That's why I don't want to go there...you look up and the day is gone! But I found a bunch of friends; Milene (from PEI), Kim Michaud, Sylvie Levesque, Tommy Lavoie, Frank Parent, Bonnie Chassé and a few more I forget. Chatted with Tommy for a bit. Wow! I haven't seen him in over 15 years! It was great to hear from him. Nice to see photos of everyone.

Last night we finished the first season of 24...borrowed from a friend. I liked it, it's very good...but it's too long to watch in one shot and I couldn't wait every week to see the next one so I think I'm already giving up on 24. So I'm having a glass of wine, think we will watch a movie and go to bed early...Nothing exciting planned for tomorrow but we're tired. Especially since I have to go back to work on Monday after being away for a week. I always end up paying for being away!

Here we go!!

Ok, this is my first attempt...probably my last attempt at blogging. I find this would be a great way to keep my friends and family up to date on our lives. Problem is...I HATE writing!! With a passsion! So for those of you out there who don't get any news from me...that's why. I miss you, I love getting your news...but writing back I can't stand. Call me and I'll talk to you for hours...

So, I'm willing to try something new. Another thing I hate more than writing is writing in French. So to my francophone friends and family, I appologize, but I'm pretty sure everyone can understand and read English. It's English or not at all.

So, I'm just getting started and I don't have much time. This blog will get updated and photos added as I go, but right now it will be pretty bland.

For the current news....well, Dominic had the stomach flu this week, Alex has had a cold all week and Gilles also got the stomach flu last night. I WILL NOT GET IT!! That's it, positive thinking.

I'be been in training in Kanata all week for our phone system. Yeah, some people go to Miami, San Diego, Denver for training....I go to Kanata! But, I'm the very first person certified on Mitel I&M 3300 ICP Advanced!!

Alex started skiing this year and has been going to her lessons on Saturday mornings. She loves it. Last week she went up the chair lift and down the big hill. So tomorrow she will be going to her course and then in the afternoon we are all going to see Sesame Street Live at the Scotiabank Place (former Corel Center).

Ok, well I am off today (like every Friday; nothing like buying time!) and my neighbor Julie is coming to scrap with me all day!! So I will go get ready and will do my very best to come update this blog very soon with photos and news.

Take care everyone!
